Bengaluru Startup Cuzor Rolls Out 70W GaNSense Charger, Backed by Rs. 5 Cr Angel Investment In Seed Round
At a launch event in Bengaluru today, homegrown consumer electronics brand Cuzor unveiled the Pulse 70W, which is touted to be "India's first GaNSense-based" 70W charger that is fully designed, engineered, and manufactured domestically. The company already leads the Mini UPS market with a 41% share and is now entering the fast-charging accessories space.
Another major announcement made at the event was the angel funding carried by Ramesh Kannan, Founder & MD of Kaynes Technology India Limited, who has made an angel investment, backing Cuzor with Rs. 5 crore in its seed round.
All about Cuzor Pulse 70W: Technical Specifications
Cuzor, is already well known for leading the mini UPS market with a 41% share in India, is now entering the fast-charging accessories segment. Its newly launched Cuzor Pulse 70W comes with a range of industry-first features: LED charging indicators, intelligent dual-port distribution that boosts smartphone charging speeds by 25%, and a rare two-year doorstep warranty, which is a category-first feature in the accessories space.

The charger is available on e-commerce websites like Amazon. Priced at Rs. 2,499.
The Pulse 70W, powered by the Navitas GaNSense Gen 4 IC, boasts 91% peak efficiency and supports PD 3.0, PPS, QC2.0, and QC3.0 protocols, making it compatible with flagship smartphones and laptops like the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Pixel 8 Pro, and MacBook Pro.
Speaking at the launch, Cuzor's Founder & CEO Sachin D Naik said, "While 'Designed in India' is a proud label, our goal is to compete globally on product merit, features, and quality - and be recognised for that."
Speaking to GoodReturns on Cuzor's strategy for market competition, Ashwini Kumar Rajan, co-founder of Cuzor, said:
"We are preparing for it, and our approach has always been very iterative. We keep our products innovative, with strong R&D, and continuously improve them as the market evolves and user feedback comes in. The second aspect we focus heavily on is after-sales support. Since this category is new for us, we are aware there will be challenges we can't fully predict yet. But our main learning is that once customers start noticing the product and it performs well, the momentum follows. We are confident we will do well in the future."
