The email, ominously titled "BOMBS INSIDE THE SCHOOL", was reportedly sent from the address roadkill333@atomicmail.io. In the disturbing message, the sender claimed to have hidden explosive devices containing TNT inside classrooms, specifically inside black plastic bags. The message was filled with violent and graphic language, threatening the lives of students and expressing suicidal intent.
"I will erase every last one of you from this world. Not a single soul will survive," the email read. It continued, "You all deserve to suffer. I truly hate my life. I will commit suicide after the news kicks in... Please give a copy of the message to the press/media."
Upon receiving alerts from multiple schools, the Bengaluru City Police quickly deployed teams to all affected institutions. Bomb Disposal Squads (BDS) were dispatched to conduct thorough inspections of classrooms and school grounds.
All school authorities were instructed to maintain calm, cooperate with officials, and prioritize the safety of children. So far, no explosives have been found, and the situation remains under close watch.
Investigation Underway
The city's cybercrime unit and intelligence teams have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the email and identify the sender. Officials are analyzing the metadata of the email and working with national cybersecurity agencies to track the source.
"We are treating this threat with utmost seriousness. All efforts are being made to identify and apprehend the individual or group responsible," a senior police official stated.
Schools on High Alert
While no devices have been discovered, the psychological impact of the threats has been significant. Several schools increased on-campus security, restricted entry points, and reassured parents via text and school app notifications. Authorities urged parents not to panic and advised them against picking up children mid-day unless instructed.
