The new iPhone 17 series is expected to hit the Indian market in September, as Apple Inc. released a teaser of the launch date. Four models are expected to be part of the iPhone 17 series, namely the standard iPhone 17, followed by the iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone Pro Max, which are likely to have jaw-dropping features with significant upgrades compared to previous iPhone series.
iPhone 17 Specifications:
It is reported that the iPhone 17 series could have a similar display to the current generations, such as the iPhone 16. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are likely to maintain the standard 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screen sizes, while the iPhone 17 will match the iPhone Pro size and the iPhone Air is expected to be available in between these two sizes.
These four models are likely to have ProMotion display technology and 120Hz refresh rate, as per reports. However, for the iPhone Pro and Pro Max, it is reported that Apple may keep MagSafe charging glasses but could replace titanium with aluminum.
Another surprising and exciting addition in these four models could be the RAM. It is reported that Apple may launch the iPhone 17 series with 12GM of RAM for the first time ever, which will allow users for flexible and even smoother multitasking and enjoyment of Apple Intelligence AI features.
As per MacRumors, new "Liquid Silicone" cases are rumored to debut alongside the iPhone 17, as well as more premium "TechWoven" cases. TechWoven is expected to take the place of Apple's previous FineWoven and leather cases, but with improved durability. The iPhone 17 Air could also get a Smart Battery and an iPhone 4-style bumper case. All of the new cases are expected to feature support for a "Crossbody Strap," a new magnetic lanyard accessory.
Other reports have stated that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max could flaunt a 48MP main lens camera, coupled with 48MP each as a periscope telephoto lens and an ultra-wide lens. This will be a huge upgrade from the previous iPhone series 12MP versions. Meanwhile, iPhone 17 Air could have a single rear camera of 48MP, on the other hand, the standard iPhone 17 could be packed with 48MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor.
Apple iPhone 17 vs iPhone 17 Air Prices:
As per various reports, iPhone 17 is expected to hit Indian market from starting Rs 89,990, while iPhone 17 AIR is likely to be at Rs 99,990. In the USA, the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air could be priced at $799 and $899.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro + Apple iPhone Pro Max Prices:
While the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to start selling at Rs 134,990 and Rs 164,999 respectively.
The iPhone Pro is estimated to be priced at starting $1,199 in the United States, £886 in the United Kingdom, and lastly at AED 4,403 in Dubai.
Furthermore, the price of iPhone Pro Max is expected to be priced at $1,899 in USA and AED 6999 in Dubai.
