Indian markets closed for Diwali
Indian stocks, forex and money markets were closed today on account of Diwali. The Muhurat trading for stocks which took place on Sunday saw the Sensex ending the day 42 points higher at a new lifetime high.

Meanwhile, markets across Asia were quiet with the Shanghai Composite marginally up, while the Korean Kospi was trading marginally lower.
