How India's consumer inflation compares with global peers?

India has just not been able to control its consumer price index, which is now amongst the highest in the world, next only to Venezuela. Rising food prices and improving rural conditions is putting pressure on prices with the CPI inflation for Feb 2013 at 10.86 per cent.
