OMC stocks flare-up on freedom to price diesel

Shares in Oil Marketing Companies, ONGC and Oil India flared, following reports of de-regulation of diesel prices.

Oil Minister, Veerappa Moily today said that oil marketing companies were free to make periodic changes to diesel prices.

HPCL rallied 5.32 per cent, Indian Oil jumped 3.38 per cent, ONGC rallied 4 per cent and BPCL gained 3.22 per cent.
