AstraZeneca Pharma shares tumble on patent loss

Shares of AstraZeneca Pharma, saw its share price tumbling more than 4%, after the company lost a patent plea on its cancer drug.

Shares of the company were last traded at Rs 1500, down 4% on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

AstraZeneca in India has its Research and Development,Manufacturing and Marketing offices in Bangalore,operating through two companies: AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited (AZPIL), involved in Manufacturing and Marketing, and AstraZeneca India Private Limited (AZIPL),involved in Research and Development,Pharmaceutical Research & Development and Branded Generics.
