Indian bond, fx, stock markets shut; Asia trades mixed

The Indian bond, forex and stock markets are shut on account of Diwali celebrations. The markets would resume regular trading on Thursday.

Markets in Asia are trading mixed with the Japanese Nikkei, Hong Kong's Hang Sang and Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted trading higher, while the Korean Kospi and Singapore Strait Times were trading lower.

Markets in Europe ended the day marginally higher, while in the US the Dow Jones and the S&P ended lower on Tuesday.
