Markets on a rollercoaster; recover and than dip again

Political concerns, particularly in France, where prospects of Presidential candidate Hollande emerging as the President affected sentiments. In Netherlands, the resignation of the Prime Minister compounded problems for Europe, which dragged world markets lower. The Sensex was trading 17.15 points at 17113.83 and the Nifty rose by 4.10 points at 5204.70.
The Asian indices were trading in the red on renewed concerns over economic and political concerns in Europe.
Stocks of Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications and Idea Cellular plunged on news of fresh recommendations from TRAI. Among the stocks that gained today in the morning trade were the TCS, HCL Tech, Wipro and Siemens. In fact, TCS surged more than 9% in trade today.
While on the losing side, the stocks failed to lure investors in the morning trade were Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communication, Idea Cellular, Maruti Suzuki and DLF.
DLF shares were down by 1.59% as it will be replaced by Dr Reddy's lab in the Sensex from June 11, 2012.
