Sensex ends marginally higher; Reliance group up

At 3.30 pm IST, the 30-share BSE Sensex was at 15,878.28 up by 21.2 points or 0.13% and NSE Nifty was trading at 4,716.25 up by 11.3 points or 0.24%.

In Asia, most of the markets ended in negative terrain Hong Kong's Hang Seng which ended red by 1.17%, China's Shanghai ended in green by 14.99% while Japan's Nikkei down by 1.16%.

Among market indicators Oil & Gas was trading at 7,688.49 up by 80.38 points or 0.09% and FMCG was trading at 4,032.07 up by 34.67 or 0.87%

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the top volume gainers were Rcom, Reliance Infra, BPCL, R power and Reliance posted gains between 2.80%-5.77%

And the top losers in trade were Bharti Airtel, IDFC, JP Associates, Hero MotoCop and Jindal Steel were among top losers.
