Gold flat in today's trade as stocks rebound

The corporate results season has already started in India diverting the minds of traders from precious metals to equities.

The most traded commodity gold for December delivery on MCX opened at Rs 26,737 per 10 grams and was trading between Rs 26,745 – Rs 26,749 per 10 grams around 2:54 pm IST.

Gold for delivery in February opened high at Rs 26,965 per 10 grams and was seen marginally up. It was trading in the range of Rs 27,008 – Rs 27,018 per 10 grams same time.

Though, gold for immediate delivery pushed up little and was seen at Rs 26,660 per 10 grams.

On equities side, the market recovered a bit after trading flat in morning.

The Benchmark Index Sensex was up by 195.07 points at 17,078 and Nifty was seen up by 44 points at 5,122 level.
