Deutsche MF Extends NFO Closure Period For DWS Fixed Term Fund - Series 89

Deutsche Mutual Fund declared the extension of its NFO named as DWS Fixed Term Fund - Series 89. Earlier the NFO was going to close on August 22, but now the date has been shifted to August 30, 2011.

The investment objective of the fund is to generate regular income by investing in debt and money market instruments maturing on or before the date of the maturity of the scheme.

The scheme would invest 100% of assets in domestic debt instruments including government securities and money market instruments & securitized debt with low to medium risk profile. Investment in Securitized Debt would be up to 20% of the net assets of the scheme. The exposure to derivatives shall be restricted to 50% of the net assets of the scheme.

CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index is the benchmark index for the scheme. Mr. Kumaresh Ramkrishnan is the fund manager for the scheme.
