Labour Welfare Scheme Pre-Matric Scholarship 2025 Deadline: The deadline for Pre-Matric Scholarship 2025-26, by Miniarey od Labour and Employment, has been extended till September 30. Now eligible students of class 1 to 12th can apply for the scholarship scheme.
Additionally, those students who have enrolled in ITI, polytechnic, degree courses (including BSc Agriculture) and professional programmes are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Which Scheme's Deadline Has Been Extended?
The Ministry of Labour and Employment Government of India runs multiple scholarship schemes for school students. As per Ministry of Labour and Employment's official update, the deadline for scholarship scheme for wards of Beedi, Cine, Iron Ore, Manganese Ore, Chrome Ore, and Limestone and Dolomite Mine Workers has been extended to 30 September.
What Is The Eligibility For The Scheme?
Eligibility for scholarships requires that at least one parent of the student be employed as a Beedi worker, in Iron Ore, Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, or as a Cine worker with a minimum of six months of service. This includes both contract and Gharkhata workers.
The total monthly income from all sources for the family should not exceed specific limits. For Beedi workers, the cap is Rs.10,000. Mine workers engaged in manual, unskilled, highly skilled, and clerical roles can access welfare schemes regardless of their wages. However, those in supervisory and managerial roles have a wage limit of Rs.10,000 per month to qualify.
Exclusions and Conditions
Certain students are excluded from scholarship eligibility: those studying the same educational stage in a different subject (e.g., B.Sc. after B.Com.) or switching professional lines (e.g., L.L.B. after B.T.). Scholarships are also unavailable to students receiving financial aid from other sources.
The scholarship may be cancelled if obtained through false statements or if the scholar discontinues studies without prior approval from the Welfare Commissioner. Changes in study subjects or institutions without approval can also lead to cancellation.

-You will receive an One Time Registration (OTR) ID after registration. Note it down for future reference.
-Now login using your OTR ID and password or Aadhaar card number.
-Check the relevant scholarship scheme for which you are eligible.
-Enter the mandatory details and upload required documents.
-Submit your application.
