How to Fill SIR Form Online: Step-by-Step Guide to Fill and Submit Your Enumeration Form on the ECI Portal
The Election Commission of India has simplified the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) enumeration process, allowing voters to update their electoral roll details online without visiting a Booth Level Officer (BLO). Citizens can now fill and submit the SIR form online through the Voters' Service Portal, making the verification process faster & more accessible ahead of the upcoming electoral revision cycle.

How to Fill SIR Form Online: Step-by-Step Process
1. Voters must begin by visiting the Election Commission of India's Voters' Service Portal at voters.eci.gov.in. The platform enables services such as electoral roll updates, new voter registration, and SIR form submission.
2. Next step is to Login or Register on the Portal by using their mobile number and EPIC (Voter ID) number. First-time users must create an account and link their mobile number through OTP verification before accessing online services.
3. You can Access the Enumeration Form after logging in, select your state, then click on "Fill Enumeration Form" under the services menu. This will open the SIR form section for online submission.
4. Enter Your EPIC number or voter ID in the designated field. The portal will auto-fetch existing voter details to ensure accuracy and reduce manual entry errors.
5. To proceed securely, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked with your EPIC. If the number is not updated, voters must submit Form 8 online to correct mobile linkage before completing SIR submission.
6. Applicants must select one of the following options:
Your name exists in the previous SIR roll/ Your parents' name exists/ Neither your name nor your parents' name exists
Enter all required personal or family details for verification and enumeration.
7. Complete Aadhaar e-Sign Verification to authenticate identity. Voters must use Aadhaar-based e-signing. The name on Aadhaar must match the EPIC record to avoid submission rejection.
8. After reviewing the filled form, tick the declaration box and click "Submit". This completes the online SIR submission process.
How To Check SIR Form Submission Status
After completing all the above-mentioned processes, voters can track whether the form has been successfully uploaded by following the steps below:
Step 1: Logging in to voters.eci.gov.in
Step 2: Selecting "Fill Enumeration Form"
Step 3: Entering the EPIC number and clicking Search
If uploaded, the message "Your form has already been submitted with your mobile number " will appear. If not, a new form page will open for completion.
Who Needs to Submit Offline
Applicants without: a linked mobile number or a Aadhaar matching EPIC must submit the SIR form through their Booth Level Officer (BLO). Also those residing in rula areas with no access to internet should completely the princess offline.
