To ensure that your Aadhaar details are not misused by fraudsters to issue a fake SIM card you can visit the central government's Sanchar Sathi website. It provides details of all the SIM cards issued on your Aadaar card.

Follow the below mentioned steps to check how many mobile numbers are linked with Aadhaar.

-Visit the official website of Sanchar Sathi, ie https://sancharsaathi.gov.in/
-Login to the website using your mobile number. Enter the one time password (OTP) request.
-Enter the OTP and click on submit.
-Once you register, you will be able to see all the mobile numbers registered on your Aadhaar card.

How To Report Unwanted or Old Mobile Connections?

Once you are aware about the total number of mobile connections issued on your Aadhaar card, you can report unwanted or unverified mobile connections by following the below mentioned steps:

-Visit the Sanchar Saathi portal application to
-Login into the portal by using the one time password (OTP).
-Go to the mobile connections section.
-Check the option to report unwanted mobile connections.
-Click on the option of 'This is not my number' or 'Not required' against the mobile connections.
-Select the 'report' option and submit the request.

Once you report the number, it is flagged to the telecom operator and has been reverified by the company. In the re-verification process, the telecom operator confirms the identity of the existing subscriber with the records available with the service provider.

The reverification process is carried out by using digital methods available, where the photograph of subscriber and his/her Proof of Identity (PoI) document is compared with existing records to ascertain the identity of actual user. In case of failure of telecom verification process, the flagged mobile connection will be discontinued. Mobile users can also use the Sanchar Sathi website or even download the application to report suspected fraud communications, block lost or stolen mobile numbers, and avail other similar services.
